THE ICONIC ESTATE was officially launched, in a big and elegant event at Ghica Tei Palace, by revealing the business promise – to offer special, unique and memorable experience to consumers, preserving the history and constantly improving the products. Producer, exporter and selective importer of still and sparkling wines, THE ICONIC ESTATE complements Alexandrion Group, the market leader in the production and distribution of wines and alcoholic beverages in Romania, and since 2017, the only single malt producer in the country.

Alexandrion through the years, has successfully acquired businesses and in all acquisitions we are integrating the culture and we are adopting our philosophy of doing business. Therefore, starting June last year, we have welcomed the ex Halewood operation, with respect on its legacy, as the wines produced during the years, have been well percieved by the market, and have been awarded in various international competitions, being the first Romanian winery to receive The Grand Gold Medal at “Concours Mondial de Bruxelles”.

On May 23, at Ghica Tei Palace, the guests met the Iconic Estate oenologist, Lorena Deaconu Stoian, and enjoyed a special experience of food and wine pairing. Their steps were guided through this experience by Ana-Maria Vrinceanu, a sommelier accredited in Romania with Wine and Spirits Education Trust level 3. The pairing was made with 3 wines from The Iconic Estate portfolio: The white wine was Hyperion Pinot Grigio, the rose, Prahova Valley Merlot and the red Hyperion Fetească Neagră.
