Alexandrion Group signed an agreement to buy the Romanian wine portfolio of the Halewood group. The transaction is estimated to be completed during the next three months.

The Halewood Group is present in Romania since 1987 and has developed a portfolio of high quality, award-winning wines. With regard to the registered volume, the company is among the top ten wine manufacturers on the local market and on the second place when it comes to wine exports. This position comes as a result of efforts sustained with professionalism by a well prepared team.

The acquisition of the Halewood wine offer brings added value to the company, and represents a new stage in the development and extension strategy, both locally and internationally. Halewood International PLC shall continue developing its existing portfolio of international spirits brands. Halewood wants to thank all its partners that have been with the company throughout time. At the same time, the Alexandrion shall concentrate on continuing and strengthening current business relations.
