Brâncoveanu Vinars, Alexandrion and Kreskova Vodka have conquered taste medals at the Bartenders’ Brand Awards 2021
Bucharest, April 21st 2021: Three of the flagship brands of the Alexandrion Group’s portfolio, Brâncoveanu Vinars, Alexandrion and Kreskova Vodka, have been distinguished with 5 taste medals at the 4th edition of the international competition Bartenders’ Brand Awards 2021 (Great Britain). The quality of the brandies produced by the Alexandrion Group, which ranked in top 5 within the competition, was once again internationally acknowledged, this time by the British bartenders. The drinks registered in the competition where ”blind” tasted and assesed by a jury made of 50 of the most experienced bartenders in Great Britain, based on flavour, complexity and versatility in cocktails, in the case of drinks that can be integrated in mixes.
Brâncoveanu XO and Brâncoveanu VS ranked in top 5 best brandies of the competition. Aged for a minimum of 7 years, the wine distillate XO conquered a silver taste medal, being appreciated by the jury for the „complexity of the flavours on the nose and palate” and „decent finish”, while VSOP and VS varieties were awarded bronze taste medals.
Alexandrion 7* stood out in the brandy category where it won a bronze medal for the tasting notes. The first brand included in the Alexandrion Group’s portfolio and the national leader of the category, present in Romania for over a quarter of century, is one of the most awarded brand in the spirits international competitions.
Obtained though a five stage distillation and filtration process, Kreskova Vodka, with 40% alc. has won a silver taste medal at the Bartenders’ Brand Awards 2021, proving once again that it has all the necessary attributes to conquer the votca consumers all over the world. Within the past few years, Kreskova Vodka has accumulated important medals in its portfolio, at well established spirits competitions, organized in Europe, the USA and South Africa.
Alexandrion 5* and Kreskova Vodka have won medals as well in the design category, granted for the creativity and esthetics of the packaging and in the value category, for the good quality-price ratio.
Bartenders’ Brand Awards is an annual competition organized in Great Britain. This year, the format of the competition was adjusted to the special global context and the tasting was organized in the virtual environment. The members of the jury received the drinks at home, in unlabeled bottles, for unbiased assessment and tasted them together, within an online event. The samples were rated based on style, age and origins.
