Bucharest, May 14th 2020 – Brâncoveanu brandy, the premium brand of Alexandrion Group, in the spirits category, was distinguished with three medals at „The Brandy Masters 2020” competition, organized by the prestigious international magazine, dedicated to spirits, The Spirits Business. Thus, Brâncoveanu VS and Brâncoveanu VSOP have received gold medals, while Brâncoveanu XO received a silver medal in the „Other Regions” category.
The Brandy Masters rewards the best brandy brands all over the world, offering them medals for excellence. The jury includes brandy experts with a broad experience, who taste the drinks in blind. The competition assesses brandy producers at international level and the medals are granted within several categories, such as: Armagnac, Other French Brandies, South African, Spanish and Other Regions.
The brandy experts from the Brandy Masters jury were enchanted by the flavours of Brâncoveanu VS, which they compared with „Jaffa Cake”, „toffee” and „dry fruits”, while Brâncoveanu VSOP left a strong tasting impression through „floral aromas, with fresh peach and baked spices notes”.
Brancoveanu brandy was created in the honor of 25 years of peace in the Romanian country during the reign of Constantin Brâncoveanu.
